Even the most fanatical of horse enthusiasts from the state
of Nebraska accepts the fact that showing horses takes a permanent back seat to
one thing. And that is the University of Nebraska
football. So, while the rest of the
Cornhusker state and national sports media has all eyes set on Nebraska’s
recent realignment with the Big 10 Conference, the fact that the Nebraska June
Run in Lincoln was able to proceed amongst the football frenzy may be somewhat
of a miracle in itself. We jest, of
course (sort of).
Not only did the
June Run go on, the show was a complete success and offered exhibitors from
Florida to Texas a great opportunity to take advantage of the unique format
that makes this show so great. Three split/combined shows means six judges and tons of points! And local
spirits lifted by their beloved Husker football team’s latest news probably
didn’t hurt anything either. Feel the
