The Minnesota Amateur QHA Corporate Challenge held its own on a busy Memorial Day weekend. With over 4,000 entries, the show handed out over $10,000 in winnings and NSBA money. Exhibitors traveled from as far away as Texas and Canada to the Fairgrounds in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mother Nature did her part and offered sunshine and beautiful weather.
Congratulations to the Darnell Family, Anita, Amy and Dennis for winning the beautiful $8,000 earrings donated by J.B. Hudson Jewelers. Saturday was the highlight of the show featuring Tom Yanz Day (for details on Tom, please visit TomYanz.com). The day was filled with a great silent auction, followed by a pasta feed and bull riding held at center stage throughout the evening. There was tremendous participation by all trainers and non-pros alike to get their full 8 seconds. Make plans to attend this awesome event in the future.
