Update To Alleged Horse Abuse Case: Wells Called To Appear In Front of AQHA

GoHorseShow.com has learned that Cleve Wells has been requested to
appear before the AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Council concerning the allegations related to Slow Lopin Scotch.

According to Kelly Proffitt,
the Senior Manager of Professional Horsemen at the AQHA, “The tentative
date for the meeting has been set for the middle of February.”

The members of the Professional Horsemen’s Council are Patti Carter of St George, Ontario, Canada, Dale Livingston of San Antonio, TX, Margo Lea Ball of Fort Collins, CO, Lynn Palm of Ocala, FL, Stephanie Ann Lynn of Fall Creek, WI and Andy
Moorman of Venice, FL.

Proffitt confirmed that Cleve Wells is currently a member in good
standing with the AQHA and to-date, remains a member of the Association of
Professional Horsemen

Ms. Proffitt was unwilling to comment on any other details regarding the matter at this time.
