We are extremely proud to announce that all four remaining trainers have offered to make the Trainer Bowl about charity. Heckaman, Pait, Martin and Searles agree that whomever wins the Kendalls pure beaver hat valued at $1100 will allow GoHorseShow.com to auction the hat to the highest bidder with the proceeds to be donated to the winner’s charity of choice. Stay tuned for the details.

There are no horses in this horse show, we will rely upon the experience and perception of our readers to decide who’s at the top of the horse training trade. The winning trainer will receive a pure beaver cowboy hat (retail value $1,100) and the runner up will receive a 20X cowboy hat (retail value $450) from Kendalls Western Hats.

CONTEST RULES

The competition is split into four categories – Western Pleasure, All-Around, Halter and English. The winner of each category will face off in a multi-round bracket style system until an overall champion is crowned. Contestants have been selected on a first-come, first-serve basis so only the first 16 trainer names nominated per discipline were accepted (64 total). Nominations received after the initial 16 for each category were added to a waiting list in the order they were received. All but one trainer from the initial list of 64 trainers said yes, so we only had to go to the waiting list for one name! Unfortunately, that left many deserving trainers off the list.

After the 64 nominations were secured, each trainer was seeded in his/her respective category in reverse alphabetical order (i.e. A versus Z) with the trainer’s last name. GoHorseShow.com readers will vote on their favorite trainers in each round and the results of the reader’s votes will determine the champion. You may vote as much as you like but no more than once a day.
