Youth, Hannah Warren, Gets Surprise of Her Life in Heartwarming Video

If you ever want to get the “Best Mom” award in the horse industry, this is the way to do it. On her 18th birthday, Carrie Geldner’s daughter, Hannah Warren, was surprised with a new equine partner, Dreamin To Extreme. Take a look at this heartwarming, secret video done by Mallory Beinborn of Impulse Photography.

“We had sold her horse, Hot Kattitude, a month ago after a great two years of showing him,” said Carrie Geldner, who lives in Greensboro, North Carolina. “She is going to go to college later this year, but she still has two more years in youth. Hannah just loves to show, and she had been watching this three-year-old since the NSBA World Show and again at Congress. They really didn’t want to sell, but it all worked out.”

Their trainer, Keith Miller, and Hannah’s mother decided to surprise her. “Mallory was coming to shoot with my horse, Must Be A Detail (Stewie) because Hannah shows him some and we needed shots. So she never thought anything of it. We told her we would black his feet and bring him out while she just got some head shots for senior year pictures. Then, of course, Stewie, was replaced with Gus.”

“I think I’m still in shock!” Hannah told us. “My mom and I have been stalking Gus since the Little Futurity last year as a three-year-old and have absolutely loved him ever since. I had no idea they’d been planning this for weeks or that my mom was even considering buying him. I was shocked she could keep this a secret for so long because my mom and I are best friends and tell each other everything.”

“It was so cool and the first shoot I’d been nervous for in a while,” Mallory states. “Keith and Sydney Miller brought a chair out to the field. I somehow kept her busy posing and not looking back towards the barn long enough to pull off the surprise just like we had hoped it would go. It was such a special day, so incredible.”

Keith Miller adds, “Not only is Mallory Beinborn an amazing photographer, but we are blown away at this video clip she captured (created from a camcorder set up on a bar stool). Thank you for this amazing moment with Hannah Warren and Carrie Geldner. And thanks to Joy and Justin Wheeler and Johnny Tart for selling Dreamin To Extreme, aka Gustavo.”
