1) Show Confidence

You want to give off an air of confidence that says, “Look at us; we are the best in the class, and (if you are showing in Performance Halter) you are going to be seeing a lot more of us throughout the day.”

This first impression starts with a smile and a confident look. Seeing a person having fun and enjoying what they are doing has a positive effect on other people, and in this case, the judges. Do your best to make a positive and confident impression on the judges and try to get in the arena first. If there is a working order, make sure that you are ready to go when it is your time to enter the arena.
