Kip Larson, of Larson Performance Horses in Arlington, Washington, came off of a horse on Friday where he landed badly and his shoulder. “I shattered my scapula into six pieces, fractured my rotator cup in two places and have a hairline fracture on my clavicle,” Kip Larson stated.

“The plan is to have surgery on Wednesday morning to repair all the broken bones. I am so thankful for all the prayers sent through texts, Facebook and phone calls,” Larson said. “Please know that I read each and every one of them but there were too many to respond to. I am so blessed to have so many friends and family members that care about my well being.”

Kip is currently at Seattle’s Harborview Hospital, waiting on surgery to repair the shoulder. LPH partner Michael Davis is doing double duty, for now, taking care of the business. Kip expects to be back at the barn within a couple of weeks. Kip, his wife, Chris, and Michael appreciate all of the well-wishes and offers of help that they have received.
