Hall/Seebach Purchase Daughter of Machine Made and Dark Jasmine

GoHorseShow would like to congratulate Drs. Candice Hall and Cory Seebach on the purchase of the three year-old mare, Made By J. “Jolene” is by the couple’s stallion, Machine Made and out of AQHA World and Congress Champion western pleasure mare, Dark Jasmine. She will make her debut in the Hylton Maiden Three Year-Old and Over Western Pleasure Class at the Virginia Classic this weekend.

In 2011, Machine Made’s first breeding year, trainer Steve Reams chose to cross the young stallion with Dark Jasmine. The following year, a sweet bay filly was born and Candice and Cory have been following her progress ever since. Trainer, Gil Galyean called them Easter weekend after seeing Jolene in person and said that she had “Candice’s name written all over her” and recommended that the couple buy her.

“My trainer, Gil Galyean, has been looking for Machine Made offspring for me to show, and when he first laid eyes on Made By J on Easter weekend, he said we had to have her,” Candice Hall told us. “I am over the moon, and so excited to ride a daughter of Machine Made this year in the Three Year-Old Non Pro Futurities. Hopefully, she follows in the footsteps of her incredible parents.”

“We feel very fortunate to acquire such a special young mare,” Gil states. “She’s one of those that the first time you see her you’re hooked. Before I saw her, I had several knowledgeable horsemen tell me what a special horse she is.”

joleneJolene (pictured right as a baby) will show with her current trainer, Taft Dickerson in the Hylton Maiden, and following thereafter she will be under the guidance of Gil Galyean Quarter Horses in Purcell, Oklahoma.

“With all of the work and time Taft has put into training her, it was certainly the best thing for Jolene to have Taft present her in the big slot class in Virginia,” Seebach states. “We wish him a great ride and much success. It is always hard getting them ready for that maiden voyage.”

The Hall/Seebach’s already own and compete with Lemonmade, who is by Machine Made and out of the late great Zip N Therapy, who is also the dam of RL Best Of Sudden. He is under the guidance of Kristy McCann and the couple are currently campaigning him in the futurity events.

The legacy of Machine Made offspring continues with the new addition of Made By J to the family. We wish them success with this great mare in the near future!
