With the APHA World Show fast appraoching, exhibitors may be wondering what sort of awards could end up in their trailer on the way home.

Come October in Columbus, Ohio, many will ask "What do you have to do to make it out of your split or semi-finals at the Congress?" In an attempt to take the mystery out of the judging system at the Quarter Horse Congress, OQHA.com posted a brief description about the process. 

The World Conformation Horse Association (WCHA) has announced that it will hold WCHA classes at four Regional Experiences through the end of July. 

The Region Seven AQHA Regional Experience, took place June 5-8 in Reno, Nevada. AQHA provided some nice photos. 

To her friends at GoHorseShow.com, she is known as BLB87.  She is 21-year-old Brittany Blankenship, the winner of the first ever GoHorseShow.com Member of The Month! 

The AQHA World Championship Show released its schedule which includes some pretty significant changes from previous years.  The biggest change is that some Preliminary classes, including Amateur Trail, Amateur Showmanship, all Over Fences and Driving classes, as well as Junior and Senior Trail, will be held in Barn 6 at the same time as other classes are being held in the Jim Norick Arena.  All Finals will be held in the Jim Norick Arena.

The APHA World Show in Ft. Worth, Texas, starts Saturday, June 21 and runs through Saturday, July 5.  APHA.com has posted  the 2008 World Show Class Listings which shows how many people are entered in each class and the working order.  Of course, Working Orders/Cuts are subject to changes so be sure to confirm your draw at the horse show!

The names of the judges for the 2008 Reichert Celebration have been released.  These judges will be responsible for the NSBA, APHA, ApHC, PHBA and AQHA classes during the 10-day show.  They are going to be busy!  

Charlie Daniels, legendary country-rock musician and APHA ambassador for the past 25 years, debut their twin fillies "Okie" and "Rosie" at their Twin Pines Ranch in Lebanon, Tenn.

The World Conformation Horse Association (WCHA) is seeking qualified Judges as the organization adds more events to its schedule. These judges are seen as critically important to the Mission and Vision of the WCHA.

The World Conformation Horse Association (WCHA) has a position opening for Executive Director.  The Executive Director will manage the WCHA office and handle day to day operation of the Association. This position reports to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
