It’s such a great time of the year when the babies start hitting the ground. Breanne Porter of High Range Ranch, home of multiple Congress Champion Hubba Hubba Huntin, just had their first baby this year by Hubba and out of their AQHA World Show Top-10 mare, Shesa Hot Invitation. Jason Martin and Charlie Cole will stand Hubba Hubba Huntin will stand at High Point Performance Horses for 2010.

“It is his first baby of the year, but not first baby ever. “Hobbes” as we are calling him is out of Shesa Hot Invitation, who has a World Show and Congress top ten, multiple futurity winner, NSBA high point horse, and has a superior in western pleasure. He is the first baby out of this cross, and so far I like him so much, I am going to breed his mom to Hubba again this year.
We are retiring Shesa Hot Invitation who is by Invitation Only and out of Shesa Hot Cookie and she is going to carry her foals from now on.
Hobbes was born February 1st. He was born like sorrel, but I think he will turn liver chestnut. We had another foal out of that mare that was born sorrel, and changed to a dark chestnut color. I think he will be a really cool horse! He’ll be lying there and if you kneel down beside him, he’ll put his head in your lap. Our babies have all been really quiet, but he is so far the quietest one. He loves to follow you around and rub him. We are really excited!”
