The
Hannagan family and all the great folks at Gordyville USA held their annual
Shootout and Classic Futurity from July 22-25 in Gifford, Illinois. Over 300 stalls were sold and people traveled from Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, and of course, Illinois.
Some of the highlights of the show were the Shootout
draw party on Friday. They offered added money classes including NSBA SIF $1000/$1000 “Classic” Open
3 YR/$200 Ltd Open HUS, NSBA $500 2 YR HUS, NSBA $500 “Classic” 2 YR
OPEN WP/$250 Ltd Open, NSBA SIF
$500/$500 “Classic” 3 YR NON PRO WEST PLEAS, NSBA $1000 OPEN/$200 LTD
OPEN 3 YR WP, NSBA $500 OP/$200 LTD OP MAT WP.
The show offered great All-Around as well as circuit awards each AQHA class including small
fry. There were new and additional classes for the riders with disabilities
including trail and HUS. Plus, you could show for $150, one horse/one back number
for all classes.
