Joan Schroeder and Schroeder Ranch, Inc. will hold a Dispersal Sale on Saturday, November 9, 2013, presenting approximately 75 horses from of one of the most successful breeding programs in the Quarter Horse industry. This will be the final sale held at Schroeder Ranch in Gainesville, Texas.
“I have a long history with Blazing Hot,” says Joan about her beloved stallion. “As a little girl, I showed against Blazing Hot’s great grandmother, Miss San Sawyer, an AQHA Superior Halter and Western Pleasure mare. Blazing Hot’s mother, Tahnee Zippo was bred to the great Hotrodders Jet Set and a very special colt was born at Schroeder Ranch on April 17, 1992. Blazing Hot met everyone’s dreams; he supplied my family with an incredible show career, a business, many champion offspring, blessings and smiles beyond our dreams.”
The sale will consist of Schroeder Ranch weanlings, yearlings and two-year old offspring of the world famous stallion, Blazing Hot, as well as broodmares in foal and recipient mares carrying embryos to foal in 2014 out of the Schroeder Ranch proven bloodlines. These outstanding bloodlines come from decade’s worth of selective breeding and planning to produce championship genetics.
“It is my honor to continue to support this great stallion as a superior sire,” Schroeder states. “In 2013, he completed his 19th successful breeding season at Schroeder Ranch, and I will stand him to the public again in 2014.”
In addition to selling the horses, Schroeder Ranch in Gainesville, Texas, has been listed with Carrie Chown of Ebby Halliday Real Estate. However, Joan intends to remain in the North Texas area and will continue her work in the horse industry.
Please accept this invitation to join Joan in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase great offspring of Blazing Hot or a proven producing broodmare that has been in an established program.
Schroeder Ranch is located 6.5 miles east of I-35 on Highway 82 and is only one hour north of Fort Worth/Dallas and two hours south of Oklahoma City. The sale will be held prior to the AQHA World Show western events and is one day before the APHA World Show Sale.
