Eight NCEA Riders to Participate in Horsemanship Challenge

Eight National Collegiate Equestrian Association riders have been chosen to participate in the 2014 American Quarter Horse Association Collegiate Horsemanship Challenge, set for November 19-20 as part of the AQHA World Championship Show in Oklahoma City.

The collegiate riders selected for the AQHA Collegiate Horsemanship Challenge are as follows:

  • Lauren DeVoe, New Mexico State
  • Sydney Elliot, Fresno State
  • Lindsey McMullen, Oklahoma State
  • Megan McMullen, TCU
  • Elizabeth Niewonja, South Dakota State
  • Logan Pluhar, Texas A&M
  • Heather Schmidt, Georgia
  • First Alternate: Lucy Igoe, Auburn
  • Second Alternate: McKenzie Perry, UT-Martin
