NSBA Welcomes Newest Quarter Million Dollar Club Members

Congratulations to Anthony Montes & Shannon Curl Holbin, the newest members of NSBA's prestigious Quarter Million Dollar Club.

The National Snaffle Bit Association is pleased to welcome Anthony Montes, of Aubrey, Texas and Shannon Curl Holbin, of Vero Beach, Florida into its prestigious Quarter Million Dollar Club. Anthony reached the milestone of more than $250,000 in lifetime NSBA earnings at the 2025 Arizona Sun Circuit and Shannon reached the milestone of more than $250,000 in lifetime NSBA earnings at the 2025 Orange Blossom Circuit at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida.

Anthony Montes
Anthony grew up in Trabuco, California, and was raised around trail horses at the encouragement of his mother and grandmother. He cleaned stalls to have the opportunity to ride Hunter Jumpers when he was young, and was introduced to the horse show world by Nancy Riggs, who took him to 4-H and Open shows around Orange County. He completed his youth career under the guidance of Judy Bonham.

Anthony’s mother also introduced him to Western Pleasure horses when she fell in love with the class. She purchased a horse and encouraged Anthony to ride and prepare it. He has since grown to especially love Western Riding and compares the special cadence of the discipline to dressage.
