GoHorseShow is excited to announce our new Candids sponsor, the up-and-coming stallion, Cheesing It of Leeman Farm in Ohio. A long-standing client of GoHorseShow, Leeman Farm has promoted such legendary stallions as Invitation Only, Lazy Loper and many others for over a decade with us. So, when the opportunity to sponsor one of the most visited and highly coveted sections of the website presented itself, having Cheesing It as the title sponsor was beyond a perfect fit. We are thrilled to feature one of the industry’s best breeding and showing programs in this high-profile position. Look for Cheesing It Candids starting immediately.

“Cheesing It is the culmination of many years of experience producing and raising champion Quarter Horses,” Leeman Farm owner Fritz Leeman says. “We believe his pedigree, exceptional temperament, and gorgeous conformation are the building blocks needed to become a great sire. This introductory year will be very exciting to have him standing in our program that has housed so many great stallions.”

About Cheesing It

Cheesing It, fondly referred to as “Captain” is a 2018 AQHA/APHA (RR) red roan overo stallion by VS Code Blue out of Go Figer (Charlie Hilfiger), an all-time NSBA Leading money earner and producer of multiple AQHA, NSBA, APHA, and Congress World Champions. Captain himself is a numerous APHA and NSBA World Champion under the guidance of Carly Veldman Parks.

“Along with his great mind and amazing conformation that leads to his easy cadence, Captain has a gorgeous look to sire quality prospects that are sure to be highly sought after in today’s market,” says Leeman Farm Breeding Manager Lauren Erk.

Erk continues, “He is a very kind and sweet horse. Carly always has her two little boys join her for victory laps. Captain is great-minded, never says no, and loves his job. He is an excellent option for being an outcross on the dam’s side, as just about every mare being bred seems to carry the sought-after family lines of Goodbar, Invitation Only, Lazy Loper, Blazing Hot, Chip, Certain Potential, A Good Machine, RL Best Of Sudden just to name a few.

Lauren adds, “We have approached a time where we need new influence into the gene pool and believe Captain is an excellent opportunity for that. Customers will have the chance to breed their mares to a full double stallion that is 6-panel negative and OLWS negative. In addition, they will be paid into all the major programs to give offspring every opportunity to succeed.”
