Check out the Candids from the L1 West Championships, sponsored by VS GoodRide and kindly taken by Lauren Stanley and Julie Hoefling.

The Nutrena West AQHA Level 1 Championships, held April 27 – May 1, 2022 at WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona, is one of two pinnacle events for Level 1, Rookie and walk-trot competitors around the world.

The West Level 1 Championships offers a variety of events and activities for competitors, friends, family and spectators to take part in throughout the show, including free Ride the Pattern clinics taught by AQHA Professional Horsemen and the AQHA Level 1 Championships Educational Series.

The show features Level 1 classes and Rookie classes. AQHA walk-trot classes are also part of the lineup. Walk-trot classes are the perfect way for eligible exhibitors to get in the arena and gain experience, which goes hand-in-hand with the purpose of the Level 1 Championships. These levels of AQHA competition are designed for the minimally accomplished to beginner AQHA competitors.
