The National Snaffle Bit Association is saddened to report the passing of Robyn Kaplow Carter.

Robyn was a formidable competitor in Hunter Under Saddle and over fences and Western Pleasure events for many years. She showed such horses as One For The Record, Guns Flash Bull, One Fresh Dude, In Zippos Image, and Zips Splash Of Art to wins at shows such as the Tom Powers Triple Challenge and the All American Quarter Horse Congress.

She was also a multiple-time AQHA world champion and the All-Around Amateur at the 1993 AQHA World Championship Show with Itchin Easy. Itchin Easy was the only horse to win both the AQHA SuperHorse and AQHA Amateur All-Around titles. Robyn accumulated more than $23,000 in lifetime NSBA earnings.

Robyn was the daughter of Susan and the late Bruce Kaplow and sister to Evan Kaplow. In 2015, she married John Carter and lived in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

NSBA extends its sympathy to the Kaplow and Carter
