About the Cover

The April issue of GoMag features the intelligent and talented Madison Nirenstein with her three horses who are under the guidance of Highpoint Performance Horses. Last month, we announced Madison’s purchase of NSBA World Champion KM Time Machine (Peanut). The rest of her lineup includes Hubbout A Dance (Henry) and No Doubt Im Trouble (Danica).

This year, Nirenstein plans to show Danica in the Novice Amateur Trail, Western Riding, and the Amateur Showmanship. “We have truly started clicking as a team this year when it comes to the trail, and my goals are to continue to learn and grow with her,” Madison shared with us.

“I am looking forward to the novice classes at NSBA and particularly Congress, since we didn’t have it last year. She has really come along in the western riding, and I’m just trying to keep up,” Madison added.

Next in Msdison’s lineup is Hubbout A Dance, who won the duo their first AQHA World Championship in Amateur Pleasure Driving last year.

“We started Henry in the equitation in the past year, and because of COVID, we weren’t able to go to as many shows as usual,” Madison told us. “This year, I am excited to watch him mature as an equitation horse. He has shown a strong liking to the event, and it’s one of my favorites.”

Madison adds, “One of my main goals is to win the Congress, so I can finish up that ‘Triple Crown’ in our equine world – winning the NSBA, Congress, and AQHA World Show. I have been a bridesmaid multiple times at Congress but haven’t gotten a title yet. I’m keeping my fingers crossed and working towards that goal this year.”

Last, but certainly not least, is Madison’s newest horse, KM Time Machine. “I plan to show Peanut in the horsemanship so that we can come together as a team. I feel like horsemanship allows you to truly understand your horse’s buttons and begin to learn one another, so I will spend this year perfecting that class. He is extremely special, and I’m looking forward to his all-around career.”
