Porter Family Sells Hubba Hubba Huntin to Alexis Pfeiffer Wrobbel

Congratulations to Alexis Pfeiffer Wrobbel on the purchase of Hubba Hubba Huntin from the Porter Family. Find out the scoop here.

GoHorseShow is excited to announce that Multiple World and Congress Champion sire Hubba Hubba Huntin has been purchased by Brandon and Alexis Pfeiffer Wrobbel of Iron W Ranch located in Edmond, Oklahoma.

“We are thrilled Alexis and Brandon will be apart of Hubba’s legacy and continue on with our dream,” says Breanne Porter, former owner of Hubba. “We are looking forward to the upcoming foal season and the foal seasons to come as Alexis and Brandon, as well as our family, work to continue to expand his legacy.”

Porter continues, “Our family has had a lot of life changes with new jobs, new family members, and new paths we are treading—within the horse world and out of the horse world. Our good friends, Brandon and Alexis have been expanding their breeding program. They had bred to Hubba in the past and had some super nice horses. We realized their dream breeding program looked a lot like ours, and the opportunity to have them continue Hubba’s legacy arose. In a way, they are continuing on with our dream—to breed high-quality show horses for those who enjoy showing fun horses with laid back attitudes. We couldn’t be happier that he is going to great owners. I know they will do some great things with him.”

Breanne adds, “Although we have a lot of changes and not as much physical time to devote to a big breeding program, we will continue to be involved in Hubba’s breeding career and the show careers of his foals. We have been blessed with the opportunity of a lifetime to show Hubba himself, and so many of his foals. Our breeding program resulted in achieved dreams including winning many World and Congress Championships, and we look forward to more. We have a really nice show gelding we are going to be promoting in the western events named No Doubt Hubbout It, as well as a yearling and weanling that look like they will follow their sire’s footsteps. And of course, we will be there with Alexis and Brandon every step of the way cheering on all of Hubba’s foals in the show pen.”

Alexis says she is very excited to become a hands-on stallion owner. “I will be at all the major shows watching and cheering on his babies, as well as advertising his babies and offering future incentives,” Alexis excitedly told us. “My husband has been very supportive, and I couldn’t have done this without him. Since the Porter Family is slowing down their involvement in the horse industry, I’m honored that my longtime friend, Breanne (Porter) asked me if I wanted to buy Hubba and that she trusts me with such a special horse.”

At The Fall Championship Show in Scottsdale, Arizona, Hubba Hubba Huntin will be sponsoring the $500 added Non-Pro Maturity Hunter Under Saddle Class. Some of his most famous offspring have dominated this class such as full brothers, Hubbout A Dance (pictured right), and Hez A Dancin Hubba. Other impressive offspring include, Always On My Game, Hotrodder, The Hottrod, Huntin Diamonds, Hubbas Lil, and Fortheluvofthegame to name a few.

Hubba will continue to stand at Highpoint Performance Horses for the 2021 season. “I had the privilege of winning the Congress on Hubba in the Western Riding and now stand him at stud,” Jason Martin told us. “He is becoming a great sire, and I am so excited for his future in this new chapter.”
