Double Registered: Voge Quarter Horses’ Heart Stoppin Receives APHA Registry Papers

Voge Quarter Horses announced that their stallion, Heart Stoppin has received regular registry APHA papers. They look forward to seeing his babies at the paint shows.

Voge Quarter Horses of Whitesboro, Texas is excited to announce that their homebred stallion, Heart Stoppin (Joey) has received his APHA Regular Registry papers. This gorgeous stallion is now double registered AQHA/APHA.

“I’m really excited to see the Heart Stoppin foals now get to show at the APHA venues,” says owner Julie Voge. “We have had nothing but positive experiences going back and registering his dam and grand dam with APHA. We are thankful for their new registration policy for this all to happen.”

The four-year-old bay stallion had an exceptional show career and is now retired to the breeding barn. Joey is by RL Best Of Sudden and out of top-producing dam One Hot Mouse.

“After Joey was weaned, we knew he could become an exceptional horse,” Justin Voge told GoHorseShow. “We hope he passes on his soundness, beauty, trainability, and natural movement to his offspring. We wanted to focus on his breeding exclusively moving forward with him,” says Voge, on why they decided to retire him after his two-year-old year. “We also know there are risks of going up and down the road. He retired a happy and sound horse, and we are looking forward to his foals.”

In addition to these exceptional traits, Voge mentions the mare power in Joey’s bloodlines as another reason mare owners should consider breeding to him. His dam, grand-dam, and great grand-dam are all multiple Congress Champion producers.

In 2018, Heart Stoppin had a phenomenal year in the 2-Year-Old Western Pleasure classes with unanimous wins at the Tom Powers, NSBA World Show, NSBA Breeders Championship Futurity and Congress. He ended his glorious year with a Reserve World Championship in the Two-Year-Old Western Pleasure at the AQHA World Show. In all, he showed to 24 judges with 21 firsts in 2018 under the supervision of Aaron Moses.
