MQHA Among First to Announce Restart of Show Season Beginning June 6

The Mississippi Quarter Horse Association has made the decision to resume the 2020 show season in June. Read the details here.

The Mississippi Quarter Horse Association has announced they are restarting their show season with their Summer Shows on June 6th and 7th in Jackson, Mississippi.

Brooks Derryberry, President of MQHA, states, “We are looking forward to starting up our show season again with this great show lineup, and you can find that information at www.mqha.org. We hope to see you there.”

MQHA will have a full lineup of classes including Western All-Around – Horsemanship, Halter, Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Western Riding, Trail, Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, Ranch Riding, AQHA Reining, NRHA Reining, Cattle Classes – Working Cow Horse, Boxing, Tie Down Roping, Breakaway, Heading & Healing, and Timed Events.

1. We will appreciate your abiding by SOCIAL DISTANCING Guidelines. Leave at least one seat between you and the other person while in the stands. Leave at least 6 feet between each other while in the show office. Do not congregate at the entry gates. Wash your hands regularly.

2. No one will be allowed on fairgrounds before 8 am on Friday, June 5, 2020.

4. If you are entering any of the cattle classes, please text 601-562-3631 before June 1, so we can make sure we have cattle for you.
