2020 Candids from Coronavirus Quarantine

Want to know what your fellow equestrians have been up to during Coronavirus quarantine? View the impressive slideshow of quarantine candids submitted by our readers.

When COVID-19 first came into the picture, people never imagined the impact it would have on the world as we once knew it. Basic freedoms we all took for granted have now been replaced with being quarantined for months as we are asked, and in many cases even forced, to stay at home while most non-essential businesses have been ordered to close. Not to mention our beloved horse shows, the common bond we all share, being postponed indefinitely.

While the outlook is still uncertain, many argue that this global pandemic has brought some positives to the table. Families are spending more time together, everyone has been forced to slow down and enjoy the moment, people are trying new things, developing new hobbies, and, if they are lucky, spending more time with their horses. And as the world continues to get even more digital than ever before, innovations such as virtual horse shows, social media talk shows, virtual riding lessons, and other online activities have everyone trying to improvise to make the best of a difficult situation.

In an effort toward maintaining our readers’ own sense of normalcy, GoHorseShow wanted to celebrate how the horse horse community bands together during difficult times. Since launching almost 12 years ago, one of the most popular sections of the GoHorseShow website has been the candids section where we capture the moments from various events throughout the world all throughout the year.
