2020 APHA World Shows Plan to Proceed as Scheduled

As of right now, APHA has no intention of canceling the APHA Youth World Show or the APHA Open/Amateur World Show.

Like you, we’re monitoring the latest news about the coronavirus. That’s why we’re doing all we can to make sure things are running smoothly for our members until we all know more. We neither want to under appreciate the significance of this health threat nor over-respond to it. We are following recommendations from state and local health officials.

Right now, we have no intention of canceling the APHA Youth World Show or the APHA Open/Amateur World Show. If circumstances change, we will communicate it widely.

Regarding APHA-approved shows, each show manager needs to make his or her own decisions about continuing their horse shows. Horse show managers should remind exhibitors to take precautionary personal hygiene measures to reduce the spread of the virus.
