The 31st annual Dixie Nationals Equestrians With Disabilities horse show was held on February 4 and 5 at the “Mac Haik” Kirk Fordice Equine Center on the Mississippi State Fairgrounds. The EWD Show was a booming success and was our largest event ever. We had exhibitors from Illinois, North Carolina, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, and Mississippi.
The Dixie National EWD Show is one of the largest events of its kind in the country with 568 entries. This event is sponsored by the Mississippi Quarter Horse Youth Association and is run solely by volunteers. The judges, ring stewards, show manager, show secretary, announcers, awards presenters, photographer, and all other personnel necessary for running this event all graciously donated their time and services.
