Kathy Tobin Adds Leading AQHA Stallion VS Code Blue to Breeding Program

Congratulations to Kathy Tobin on purchasing VS Code Blue to stand alongside Allocate Your Assets.

When the opportunity arose, Jan Pittman knew that VS Code Blue (Peyton) would have the best home with Kathy Tobin and the Searles in Arizona. “Peyton has been a dream come true for me, and I have been blessed. Like Kathy, I wanted to buy him when he was a yearling. I can’t wait to cheer for the Blues in the show arena and continue his mark as a great sire,” says Pittman.

Jan didn’t plan to sell Peyton, but as luck would have it, Tobin approached her about selling him, and the deal was made. It was perfect timing as Pittman has had health challenges the past few years. “I thought he would be in great hands and have the perfect home where he would be taken care of and spoiled for the rest of his life.”

“I’ve had great customers and mare owners who I’ve loved working with,” Jan shares. “I will miss them.”

Kathy Tobin of Paradise Valley, Arizona, will be adding VS Code Blue to her stallion lineup alongside her multiple World and Congress sire Allocate Your Assets. “I can’t thank Jan enough for selling Peyton to us. I am humbled and honored to try to continue her wonderful program.”

Tobin told us that she has always admired Peyton since he was a two-year-old. “We’ve always loved his bloodlines on both his Sire and Dam sides. His beautiful movement and mind drew us to him back then. Also, he is so handsome,” Tobin says.

Fast forward ten years later, Tobin and Deanna Searles were talking to Jan about some mares and foals she owned. “Deanna asked about Peyton, and the rest is history,” Tobin shares. “We will strive to continue Jan’s incredible program, and we want to thank everyone who believes in Peyton, too. I can’t thank Jim and Deanna enough for all they did to bring Peyton into our lives and to make this dream come true.”

VS Code Blue’s Breeding Manager, Jim Searles wants to reassure all previous breeders that 2019 Contracted Rebreeds and Current 2020 Contracts will be honored. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Jim Searles for more information at (602) 549-7332. Peyton’s updated 2020 contracts will be up soon on his website, www.vscodeblue.com.
