2019 AQHA Open World Show Schedule Online Now

The Lucas Oil AQHA World Championship Show returns to State Fair Park in Oklahoma City November 7-23. Owners, exhibitors and fans can view the 2019 tentative schedule, which is now available online under the schedule tab at www.aqha.com/worldshow.

Member feedback aided the AQHA Show Department in crafting the 2019 Lucas Oil World tentative schedule. The AQHA Show Department staff drafted the 2019 schedule, then asked reviews from trainers, owners, exhibitors and the AQHA Show Committee and Council. Based on that input, adjustments were made and the schedule was sent to the AQHA Executive Committee for its approval.

“What keeps us in awe of the American Quarter Horse is the versatility of the breed. That’s what makes the Lucas Oil World so special – we see thousands of horses and exhibitors come together to vie for the world championship titles in a multitude of events,” said AQHA Chief Show Officer Pete Kyle. “Because this show is so diverse, there are certainly challenges that arise when developing the schedule each year. We’re very appreciative of the trainers, owners and exhibitors who aided us in updating the schedule for this year, along with the AQHA show council.”

Exhibitors at the 2019 Lucas Oil World will also want to save the date for the AQHA Awards Celebration. AQHA will recognize the 2018 year-end high-point winners Sunday, November 17, during an “Oscar-style” party held at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. The Lucas Oil World schedule was modified to allow exhibitors and their connections time away from the show for the celebration. The show’s scheduled start time on Monday, November 18, was also adjusted to accommodate for the celebration. More details about the awards celebration will be released on www.aqha.com/worldshow.
