Kimes Kandids & Go-To Place for 2018 AQHA World Championship Show
The Lucas Oil AQHA World Championship Show is the pinnacle event for American Quarter Horse owners and exhibitors around the world, who must qualify for the event by earning a predetermined number of points to compete in each of the classes representing halter, English and western disciplines.
Nearly 4,500 entries from the United States, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom are competing for 99 world championships and 90 Level 2 Championships titles at this year’s event, November 1-17 at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City.
Ride the Pattern clinics are back and will give insider tips on what the judges will be looking for, taught by some of AQHA’s most talented Professional Horsemen. Donations for the Pro Horsemen Crisis Fund will be accepted at each clinic and generously matched by Nutrena. Find out when specific clinics will be held here.
New this year, AQHA will be hosting its annual Awards Celebration during the show. This Oscar-style event will be held on Sunday, November 11 at the beautiful National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the show office.
Also, new this year, each competitor will receive a free digital copy of their performance courtesy of AQHA. Official show videographer, Equine Promotion, will automatically email exhibitors a link to their run. No sign-up is necessary; please visit their booth to purchase additional videos or to update your email address.
