Kimes Kandids & Results from Redbud Spectacular

The Redbud Spectacular is currently being held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma through June 10th. The estimated number of entries for the show so far is an impressive 16,850. The trail and horsemanship had huge numbers with the amateur classes getting up to almost 40 exhibitors.

“I showed my new horse that I got in December in the Youth Hunter Under Saddle and I was the reserve circuit champion with a win and picking up points,” says Emma Garcia, who took photos for us at the show. “I came to this horse show to try to prepare for the AQHYA World Show, because I nationally qualified for the Level 2 and Level 3 Hunter Under Saddle, and it was a successful show for us.”

Carey Nowacek, who also took some photos for us at the show, adds, “It has been a great horse show. The schedule has been nice, making it very relaxing and nothing rushed or exhausting. Numbers have been great, and it hasn’t been too miserably hot!” Carey says and laughs.
