Georgia Remains on Top of NCEA Rankings

WACO, Texas – The National Collegiate Equestrian Association on Tuesday announced its latest Farnam Team Rankings for collegiate equestrian, as determined by the NCEA Selection Committee.

The Georgia Bulldogs have claimed the top spot despite a home loss to Auburn last week, holding a 6-1 record on the season. The Auburn Tigers and Texas A&M Aggies both move up to No. 2 and No. 3 following major road wins against ranked SEC opponents.
The SMU Mustangs and Oklahoma State Cowgirls hold the No. 4 and No. 5 positions. The Baylor Bears move up to No. 6 after defeating the TCU Horned Frogs. TCU drops down to No. 7 and the South Carolina Gamecocks remain at No. 8. The South Dakota State Jackrabbits move into the rankings to No. 9 and the UT-Martin Skyhawks stay in the rankings at No. 10.

A busy NCEA weekend ahead with several conference match-ups including No. 1 Georgia at No. 8 South Carolina, No. 3 Texas A&M at No. 2 Auburn, No. 7 TCU at No. 10 UT-Martin, No. 5 Oklahoma State at Fresno State, No. 4 SMU at Fresno State, and a neutral meet between No. 5 Oklahoma State and No. 4 SMU at the Fresno State facility. Additionally, Sweet Briar College will be hosting its first NCEA meet against the Delaware State Hornets this Friday, February 16th.
