Terry Bradshaw Purchases Multiple World Champion Sire, Telasecret

GoHorseShow would like to congratulate Terry Bradshaw on the purchase of multiple World Champion sire, Telasecret. The 2009 bay stallion is by The Top Secret and out of Teloquence and was bred by Gerri Leigh Pratt of Winston Salem, North Carolina. Telasecret was last owned by Clark Rassi and Steve Robinson of Aubrey, Texas.

“It’s very seldom you get the opportunity to purchase a horse that’s sired 22 World Champions. We have spent the last three years acquiring some of the best mares in the industry,” Bradshaw states. “It was almost impossible to pass up this opportunity, so I would like to personally thank Clark Rassi, as I know this was a tough decision to make. I find that breeding is the one thing that has influenced me the most over my last 20 years in the Quarter Horse industry. I got into the breeding because of Duane Walker and have since kept on in the breeding, so an opportunity like this from Clark was an easy one to make.”

Terry Bradshaw’s trainer, Aaron Hall adds, “I am very excited about him coming into our program. With the set of mares Terry has put together, there is a great variety for all of the stallions here. We will have a large selection of quality and color for everyone. Terry and Tammy have given me a wonderful opportunity to show some nice horses, and with the purchase of Telasecret from one of the industry’s best in Clark Rassi, this is going to be fun.”

In AQHA alone, Telasecret has sired 11 AQHA World Champions and seven AQHA Reserve World Champions. His AQHA offspring has amassed over 2,000 AQHA halter points.

“I put him on Facebook to sell a few days ago, and he was sold in 24 hours,” Rassi said. “I’ve known Terry Bradshaw since the mid-80s when I sold him his first AQHA World Champion, Concention (pictured right). This yearling colt won the 1992 Open Yearling Colts with Chip Knost. “So, we’ve had an ongoing 20-year relationship, and I’m excited to watch Telasecret continue his breeding career with him. He is the best young halter sire of all-time partly because he has all the top modern halter horse bloodlines including Mr Conclusion, Obvious Conclusion, and Sierra Te.”

Rassi adds, “He couldn’t be going to a better home and he will be joining many of his old girlfriends again. Telasecret will remain in the Amateur and Open Breeders Halter Futurity. I can’t even begin to thank all of the people who have bred their mares and supported Telasecret through the years. He has been a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ horse and is certainly following in the footsteps of his sire, The Top Secret.”

GoHorseShow would like to congratulate Terry Bradshaw on the purchase of this outstanding halter stallion.
