Dreams Really Do Come True for Jadasa Jablonowski and Aint Gota Lot at the Congress

Jadasa Jablonowski, fondly known by everyone as Dasi, has dreamed for years of winning her first Congress Championship. She proved that if you can dream it, you can do it when she was named the winner in the Senior Hunter Under Saddle at the Congress. “I had a game plan today as I entered the show pen, and my main goal was to make sure I got seen and didn’t get covered up,” Dasi said.

Dasi’s game plan definitely worked out for her. She was the last one standing in the Celeste Arena as it was announced that she was the 2016 Congress Champion Senior Hunter Under Saddle with Aint Gota Lot (Bob B) for owners Dave and Courtney Archer. Bob B is by Gota Lota Potential and was bred and raised by Shelley and Kim Donovan of BSB Quarter Horses.

Dasi, a German native, comes to the Congress every year from Germany to help and ride for Charlie Cole and Jason Martin of Highpoint Performance Horses. In Germany, Dasi runs her own very successful horse training business, Dasi Show Horses, and is also a talented graphic designer. “I have always looked up to Jason, Charlie and Beth (Case) as riders, and to be able to come over and ride and learn from them is an opportunity of a lifetime,” Dasi said.Dasi_CongressChampion_aintgotalot_emotional_©Courtsey

After the last judges’ cards were called, Dasi and Beth Case aboard multiple Congress and AQHA World Champion, Look N Hott were tied to win. Dasi and Bob B ended up winning the tiebreaker. “I had no idea I had won it. I thought I was going to be reserve and Beth won it,” Dasi said.

It wasn’t until they went back to the rail for the final placings when Beth and Deanna Searles (who finished third) told Dasi she had won it. “At that moment, I was speechless, my eyes filled up with tears and all I could do was bend down and give Bob B a big hug,” Dasi said. “Today is a day I will never forget.”

Dave and Courtney Archer of Pilot Point, Texas have owned Bob B since July 2016 and he is truly a once-in-a-lifetime horse. “Bob B has the heart and try of a champion,” Courtney Archer said. “Dasi did an amazing job showing Bob B and to watch her and Bob B walk out of the Celeste arena with the bronze trophy and the ribbon around his neck was truly a dream come true for Dasi as the rider, us as the owners and Jason, Charlie and Beth as the trainers.”

Watch for Bob B and Courtney in the Non-Pro Open Maturity Hunter Under Saddle Finals, Novice Amateur Hunter Under Saddle and Novice Amateur Hunt Seat Equitation.
