Friday, July 25th–New Update From Annabell’s mom, Kyle Smith Simmons
It has been a great month home from the hospital. Since we have been home, Annabell has gotten a clean bill of health with all of her doctors visits and has now started OT and PT therapy for continued strengthening. She is gaining weight daily and is off all her medications except one! She will continue to have check ups, but the doctors think she will be just fine. We got to go to our first horse show last weekend to finish qualifying a few and had a great first horse show back. The horses were great and most of all, Annabell was there by my side the whole time. Thanks everyone for all the prayers, love and support. God is great, and we can’t wait to see what he had in store for our baby, Annabell.
UPDATES from friend, Jennifer Ford
April 28th–Annabell Update: Just spoke with Kyle Smith Simmons and they continue to work with Annabell on lowering her vent settings. Her lab work and chest x-rays continue to show improvement. She continues to rock along consistently with no major set backs just needing time to heal. Please continue to lift this baby and her family up in prayer. I know that Kyle and Maxie Simmons appreciate all of the comfort being provided to them by all of you.
April 25th– Two faint Doppler points this am and moving her left toes some. Doctor said, “That’s something, it’s something”…Vitals are good.
April 24th– Annabell is out of surgery. They were unable to correct the vascular issue at this time. She continues to make progress slowly. They will consider transferring her when she is stronger. Please continue to pray.
April 24th– 6:07 pm (central time): Annabell is currently going into surgery due to vascular complications with her leg. Please continue to pray for this precious child. Pray for guidance for the vascular surgeons, anesthesia & nursing staff.
