An annual award presented to a worthy trainer during the 2010 All American Quarter Horse Congress Masters class.
Connie Hill and the great folks at The Southern Belle are looking to give back to the horse show industry and will be giving a new award that will be presented at Congress. It will go to a trainer that has made significant contributions to the equine community. We have detailed the qualifications and encourage you to nominate someone who you feel would be worthy of receiving this new award.

The 21st European Championship of American Quarter Horses just finished in Kreuth, Germany and GoHorseShow.com has candids and results from the nine day event. You might recognize some of the faces and names of those from the United States! The AQHA sanctioned show was held at The Manor Gut Matheshof which is the largest equestrian facility in Europe and regarded as the finest mecca for all things horse related in Europe.

The year 2010 marked the fourth annual NSBA World Championship Show located in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex; a state-of-the-art facility located at the Tulsa Expo Square. The NSBA offered 139 all-breed classes over the five days of August 18th-22nd and payouts in excess of $400,000 in cash and prizes. GoHorseShow.com has candids covering all of the action and results provided by the NSBA.

The Reichert Celebration has wrapped up Tulsa, Oklahoma and GoHorseShow.com was there to bring you sights from the event. GoHorseshow's Kyle Brenner was on hand and got some great pictures.  Who was hot in Tulsa?  Everyone!!! With temperatures well over 100 degrees, the competition was even hotter than usual.

For the second year in a row, Jay Starnes (pictured here with wife Kristy) brought home a check for $100,000, this year aboard Hot Lopin Machine.
Congratulations to Jay Starnes aboard Hot Lopin Machine, winner of the Equine Sports Medicine $250,000 Challenge 2 Year Old Western Pleasure class. The bay stallion, owned by Michelina Carbone, brought home a check for $100,000 and is the seventh horse to have won the prestigious event.

Bret and Candy Parrish, pictured with son Cody, tied for third in The Southern Belle $200,000 Novice Slot class and brought home $44,100.
The Southern Belle has continually been one of the best run futurities and the 2010 was no exception. Held July 14-18 in Tunica, Mississippi, Connie Hill, Mike Coggin and Chris Cecil-Darnell rolled out the southern hospitality for all to enjoy. GoHorseShow.com was there for the action and has complete results and candids photos from the event. Thank you Cydney Benes for contributing to the candids!

Immediately after the class, Roth told GoHorseShow, "My ride was perfect. She was perfect. I didn’t even have to touch her. She just went around."
Shirley Roth and her 3 year old red roan mare, Kiss Onthe Openrange, bested a field of 28 horses on Saturday night to win $58,500 at The Southern Belle in the Breeders 3 Yr Old $2,500 Novice Horse WP. GoHorseShow.com's Kyle Brenner spoke with Roth immediately following the win, "I can’t even believe it, it’s just overwhelming. It’s going to take a day or so to sink in."

Katie and Rusty Green and Steve Thompson enjoyed an incredibly successful Tom Powers futurity.
The Tom Powers Triple Challenge Futurity just concluded in Berrien Springs, Michigan and we were there to bring you great candids and results from one of the biggest futurities in the country. GoHorseShow.com's Kyle Brenner enjoyed making his GHS debut. "It was a great show and I loved seeing old friends and making new ones, taking candids and spreading Gohorseshow green cheer!" Thank you Kyle for the great candids and results.

“The Appaloosa Horse Club is looking forward to Appaloosa competition at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex in Tulsa," says ApHC President, Chuck McWhirter.
The Appaloosa Horse Club is encouraging people to “Get Spotted in Jackson, Mississippi at the 63rd National Appaloosa Show, June 21-28, and the World Championship Appaloosa Youth Show, June 28-July 3.” However, starting in 2011 the shows will move to Tulsa, Oklahoma.
