NSBA Riders Cup Moves to Arizona Sun Circuit

The NSBA Riders Cup will be held in Scottsdale, Arizona March 4-11, 2018. Exact date to be released soon.

The NSBA Riders Cup is an annual program, designed to award substantial and sustainable purses to NSBA Non Pro members and their professional trainers. Each year, significant amounts of prize money are offered in Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Trail, Western Riding, Showmanship At Halter, Western Horsemanship, and Hunt Seat Equitation events. In 2016, the NSBA Riders Cup paid over $40,000 in total prize money to NSBA members over the course of the two-day event.

To be eligible for participation, all professional riders must be sold through the NSBA Trainer Sale program in the given competition year. Additionally, each owner is required to pay a nomination fee. An owner must make their nomination under the name of a sold trainer, allowing NSBA to distribute a portion of prize monies to that professional as prescribed below.

Payout:

All Riders Cup classes will pay 80% to the owner and 20% to the professional rider/trainer associated with that specific entry.
