Everyone at GoHorseShow is heartbroken to announce the passing of Scott Kennedy of Ocala, Florida. Kennedy specialized in showing and breeding world class halter horses. Kennedy and his wife, Breda, recently purchased multiple AQHA World and Congress Champion Inspirado. Last month, when we talked to Scott about buying Inspirado, he was excited that after multiple surgeries, his wife would be able to show again.

The family wants to thank everyone one for their love and support in this very tough time. As everyone struggles to understand this tragic loss, please remember to keep them in your prayers.
Scott was able to continue helping others after his death just as he was such a selfless giver in life. His tissue donations helped at least a dozen people in need.
Per Scott’s wishes, he will be cremated. His ashes will be taken to one of his favorite places in life, the mountains in Australia, where he rode horses with his grandpa as a child.
Scott did not want his family and friends to mourn him in passing, and wanted people to celebrate his life and cherish the memories and laughter. A celebration of life will be planned, but a date has not been finalized at this point.
Please respect the family’s privacy at this point in their journey. Continue to pray for them and know that Breda is surrounded by people who are helping her heal from this sudden loss. Breda does appreciate the outpouring of love, but wants some time to grieve privately.
