Entry forms can be found on the Congress Super Sale page of the company’s website. Sellers can enter using the convenient Online entry form or download one to complete and return by fax or email.
“The Congress Super Sale has consistently been the strongest auction marketplace in the Country for Show horses, broodmares and prospects in the Western Pleasure, English and All Around disciplines,” adds Jennings. “There is only one time each year sellers have access to the thousands of buyers that come to the Quarter Horse Congress.”
The New SALE STAKES Yearling Session is off to a Great start. More than 90 Western Pleasure bred yearlings have been entered! Sellers pay only a $100 additional entry fee to be in this session. The buyer pays a sustaining fee of $250. For each Yearling that is paid up with a sustaining fee, the Ohio Quarter Horse Association will contribute $500 to the purse. Initially, there was an estimate of a $30,000 purse with 40 paid in yearlings. It is now possible to see a purse of nearly $50,000 for the 2017 Two Year-Old Western Pleasure Sale Stakes Class. The new Sale Stakes class will offer both Open and Non Pro divisions.
The Yearling Sale Stakes Session features NSBA and PHBA World Champion Longe Line horses. Many of these Yearlings are siblings to top horses in the Industry including The Rock, Whatscookngoodlookin, Supermann, The Best Martini, KM Perfect Ten, KM Million Dollar Baby, No Doubt Im Huntin, Bestdippednchocolate, Quiet Ride, Batt Attitude, Ima Diamond Loper and more. These yearlings are sired by the top sires in the industry and out of mares that are top show mares and proven producers, as well as, sisters to horses like Lazy Loper, A Certain Vino, A Sudden Impulse, The Rock and others.
The riding age horses feature proven show horses that have earned impressive show records including Superior Western Pleasure, NSBA Reserve World Champion, AQHA High Point and numerous ROM, Congress and World Show Top Ten, Futurity Champion awards and more. Buyers can shop a number of prospects that are well started or ready to go to the shows.
Some nice broodmares are featured that sell in foal to top sires, such as Lazy Loper, The Best Martini, Never Compromise (APHA) and One N Only.
OQHA and Pro Horse Services are working together in order to provide a great venue for sellers and buyers alike. The sale will be held in the Lausche Building at the Ohio Expo Center Fairground at 10:00 am on October 22nd. Prior to the sale, horses will be demonstrated on Friday, October 21 starting at 12:00 p.m. The Congress Super Sale and the preview will also be webcast live through a link on www.ProHorseServices.com or the iEquine.com webcast for the Congress.
